Gertie Mae Frederick, 87, passed away on July 8, 2017 in Houston, TX.

She was born on May 2, 1930 her parents were Joseph A. Racca and Bernice M. Pitre Racca.

Gertie is survived by her 4 children, Michael D. Frederick of Houston, TX, Tanaa M. Whiteis of Carmel Valley, CA, Brian Frederick of Houston, TX and Annette D. Rochel of McComb, MS; 9 grand-children; and 9 great grand-children. She was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Frederick; and her brother, Joseph A. Racca, Jr.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 13, 2017 at 3 P.M. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery in Sulphur under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 13, 2017 from 1:30 P.M. at Johnson and Robison Funeral until time of the service.
