Ginger Reeves Kibodeaux

Ginger Reeves Kibodeaux, 70, of Lake Charles, went to be with her Lord on Saturday September 9, 2017 at her residence.

Ginger was a native of Lake Charles. Following her retirement as a special needs school bus driver from the Calcasieu Parish School Board, she was a coordinator at CARC. As a mother, Ginger was always serving her children and their friends as a room mother, coach and a constant source of energy and strength. This energy extended on to her grandchildren and her siblings. Ginger was of the Christian faith and flourished by helping others.

Preceding Ginger in death are her parents, Arthur and Maloria Busby Reeves; brother, Arthur Barry Reeves; infant daughter, Monica Kibodeaux and beloved son, Lee Kibodeaux. She leaves to cherish her memory, two children, Veronica Kibodeaux and Darlene Beard and husband David; Lake Charles; sister, Patsy Adair, Lake Charles; father of her children, Louis Leroy Kibodeaux, Sr.; brother, William “Bobby” Reeves, Moss Bluff; seven grandchildren, Courtney Edwards and husband Kirk, Cristin Trahan and husband Ricky, Cody Trotter, Kate Savario, Taylor Beard, Clayton Trotter and Tyler Beard; five great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.

Visitation will be on Tuesday September 12, 2017 at Johnson Funeral Home from 11:00 AM until 6:00 PM. A celebration of her life will be at 6:00 PM on Tuesday at the Funeral Home. Private family interment will be at a later date.
