Gladys Ledoux

Gladys LeDoux (Gert to her friends and Maw to her grandchildren), 91, of Vinton, LA passed away on Sunday, March 11, 2018 surrounded by her family.  Gladys was born in Ged, LA on January 13, 1927 to Willis and Agnes Fontenot.  She was married to Garland Mitchell LeDoux until his death in 2000.  Gladys was a 1946 graduate of Sulphur High School. 

Gladys is survived by her sons, Clint LeDoux and wife Cheryl and Gary LeDoux and wife Sabrina; her daughter, Darcy LeDoux Louviere; her grandchildren, Joel Thibodeaux and wife Amber, Brent Louviere and wife Donya, Blake Louviere and wife Michelle, Chris Louviere, Lori Cunningham and husband Bobby, Cory LeDoux, Brenna LeDoux and Garrett Louviere; 12 great grandchildren; and one sister, Delores Fontenot Duhon.  She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; brothers, Levi and Hesby Fontenot; infant son, Albert G. LeDoux; and one grandson, Dustin M. Louviere.

Services for Gladys will be held on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at 1 PM at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home in Sulphur.  Burial will follow at Mimosa Pines South in Carlyss.   The family will receive friends on Monday, March 12, 2018 at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home from 4-9 PM with a rosary at 6 PM and will resume on Tuesday from 9 AM until the time of service.
