Glen Alan O'Neal

Glen Alan O’Neal, 65, of Ragley passed away at 12:35 PM on Thursday, October 8, 2020 in a local hospital.

Glen was born on December 6, 1954 in Lake Charles where he was raised. He graduated from LaGrange High School in 1972.  His career of choice for 45 plus years was in the oil field. Glen's dedication and loyalty was recognized by Mr. Larry Cooper of Cooper Manufacturing & Supply where he worked his final years.   He was an avid fisherman and spent his spare time at his camp in Toledo Bend.  Glen will be remembered as a loyal man who was devoted to his family.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 26 years, Debbie Burrow O’Neal of Ragley; children, Justin Alan O’Neal and wife Michelle, Delwin Boudreaux of Ragley, and Sunni Blanchard of Ragley; his mother, Wanda Comeaux O’Neal of Lake Charles; siblings, sisters, Debbie Babineaux (Donnie) of LeBleu Settlement and Sharon Istre of LeBleu Settlement; brothers, Greg O’Neal (Stacie) of Iowa and Grady O’Neal (Stacey) of Crestview, FL; seven grandchildren, Shayden Arabie, Corey Savoy, Tori Boudreaux, Shannon “KK” Arabie, Isabella O’Neal, Ricky Blanchard, and Jordin Blanchard; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, John O’Neal and an infant brother.

Visitation will begin on Monday, October 19 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and will resume on Tuesday from 9:00 AM until the start of the service at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 in the Johnson Funeral Home chapel in Moss Bluff.  Mr. O’Neal’s brother, Rev. Grady O’Neal, will officiate.  Burial will follow in Lacassine Cemetery.
