Glen Dewayne Vaughan, Sr.

Glen DeWayne Vaughan, Sr., 84, passed away on October 12, 2017 in a local nursing home. He proudly served his country in the U S Air Force, and worked for Citgo Petroleum as a security guard for 16 years. Glen loved riding and caring for horses, working with leather, and spending time with his family and friends.

Glen is survived by his wife of 64 years, Clara Hoover Vaughan of Sulphur; his 4 children, Clara Ann Padila, James Vaughan, Glen Vaughan, Jr. and Ronald Vaughan; 11 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild and 2 great-great grandchildren on the way; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; 3 sibling; a granddaughter and a great-granddaughter.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at 10 A.M. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Marcus Wade officiating. Burial will be in Mimosa Pines Cemetery in Carlyss under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Friday, October 13, 2017 from 4-8 P.M. at the funeral home with visitation continuing on Saturday October 14 at 8 A.M. until time of the service.
