Glen Louis Conner

Glen Louis Conner, 53, of Lake Charles, LA, passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2015 in his residence. Mr. Glen was born on November 24, 1961 in Lake Charles, LA, to Nelson and Joyce Conner. He loved passing the time by cooking for his beloved family and friends. He also enjoyed the great outdoors while hunting, fishing, and camping. One of his favorite pass times was playing golf. Left to cherish Mr. Glen's memory is his mother, Joyce Conner Breaux, of Gueydan, LA; his son, Dustin Conner, of Lake Charles, LA; Dustin's mother, Dena Conner; his four sisters, Connie Anderson, of Houston, TX, Joy Harrington and husband Brad, of Gueydan, LA, Pam Goos and husband Brady, of Lake Charles, LA, and Kayla Darby and husband Jason, of Oak Ridge TN; one grandchild, Nora Grace Conner, the light of his life; as well as several nieces and nephews. Glen is preceded in death by his father, Nelson Conner; as well as his maternal and paternal grandparents. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, October 5, 2015 at St. Martin DePorres Catholic Church. Monsignor Charles Dubois will be officiating. Visitation will be at Johnson Funeral Home beginning on Sunday from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a rosary taking place at 6:00 PM. Visitation will then resume on Monday morning at 8:00 AM until 1:30 PM.
