Glyn Vincent Farber, of Moss Bluff, died Tuesday, February 1, in a Lake Charles Hospital.
Glyn was a native of Cottonport but moved with his family at an early age to Eunice. He graduated from Eunice High School and attended T. H. Harris Technical School graduating with a degree in Instrument Technology.
He served in the Air Force for four years during the Vietnam War.
Upon his discharge from the Air Force, Mr. Farber and his wife moved to Lake Charles where he worked for St. Patrick Hospital as a Bio-Medical Technician. He retired from PPG Industries after 27 years of service.
Glyn is survived by his wife, Marie Elaine Marx Farber of Moss Bluff; a son, Brian Farber of Tyler, TX; a brother, Douglas Farber of Denham Springs; four, grandchildren, Olivia Farber, Mya Farber, Chris Farber and Chance Farber, one great grandchild Mia Vincent Lozoya.
He was preceded in death by a son, Steven Vincent Farber.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Sunday, February 6, in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel in Moss Bluff. The Rev. Aubrey Guilbeau will officiate. Burial will be in New Ritchie Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until time of services on Sunday.
