Grace Landry

Grace Landry, 94, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 30, 2016.

She was a lifelong resident of Carlyss and a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church. She loved gardening, cooking, and her pets, especially her cat. She enjoyed camping and fishing at Toledo Bend with her family.

Survivors include her daughter, Peggy Skaines of Houston, TX; sons, Tommy Landry of Carlyss and O.J. Landry of Many, LA; eight grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, numerous great great grandchildren; and her dear friend, Kathy Wing.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Ophelias Landry; two daughters, Charlotte LeDoux and Jeanne Stanley; grandson, Brent Roy Landry; and sister, Betty LeDoux Trevillion.

Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 1, 2016 in Johnson & Robison Funeral Home. Rev. Luke Krzanowski, M.S. will officiate. The family will receive friends Saturday, 10 am – 1pm with a recitation of the Rosary at Noon.  Burial will follow in Mimosa Pines Cemetery of Carlyss.
