Greg Allen Stoddard

Greg Allen Stoddard, 62, passed away suddenly at his daughter’s home in Lake Charles on Saturday, July 2, 2022. Greg was born on January 9, 1960, in Lake Charles, La.

Greg was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. He was a hard-working man that had his own construction company, Stoddard Contracting. He loved cooking, spending time with family and friends, fishing at Toledo Bend, and a good  scotch. 

He is proceeded in death by his parents; Freddie Delaney Stoddard and Lois Martin Counts; and granddaughter, Aaliyah Courville. 

He will forever be cherished in the memories of his daughter, Amanda Stoddard Brassieur; son-in-law, Jason Brassieur; son, Allen Greg Stoddard; daughter, Whitney Johnson; son-in-law, David Johnson; and daughter, Laken Harper; his grandchildren, Samantha “Sam” Brassieur, Ethan Brassieur, Madisyn Stoddard, Colin Stoddard, Kaley Harper, Jacob Harper, Guinevere Johnson, Aurora Johnson, and Jinora Johnson; his siblings, Gloria “Glo” Deskin, Lois “Georgie” Stoddard, Roy  Stoddard, Robbie Jo Coker, Reanita “Reaccy” Fontenot, Rena “Ren-Dena” Hulsey, and Krista “Kissy” Lanham; as well as his many nieces, nephews and all others that he called his.

A gathering of friends and family to celebrate his life will be held at Johnson Funeral Home in Lake Charles on Friday, July 8, 2022 from 4 pm until 7 pm.
