Greg Meo

Gregory Carson Meo, 68, of Moss Bluff, LA, passed away at 8:09 AM on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 in a Lake Charles hospital.

Greg was born May 8, 1954 in CA and was raised in Lakewood, CA.  He lived a number of years in Texas before settling in Moss Bluff thirty-five years ago.  Greg worked for nineteen years at Bolton Ford’s paint and body, retiring in 2008.  Following his retirement, he continued his passion for painting vehicles.  He has always had a love for working on vehicles and has been painting cars since he was 15.  He enjoyed woodworking, painting, and drawing and will always be remembered as an excellent artist.  He also loved his family dearly and enjoyed riding his motorcycle.

Greg is survived by his daughters, Christian Andreas (Colin) of Moss Bluff and Barbara Meo of Lake Charles; son, Joshua Caleb Meo (Mikki) of Baldwyn, MS; sisters, Lisa Botelho and Patricia Cruz (Jack), all of La Mirada, CA; grandchildren, Victoria, Alexis, Blair, Allan, Ananda, Ethan, Mia, Kaden, Ashlyn, Sierra, Talia, Jonah, and Dakota; and his best friend, Carl Duhon.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alphonso Meo and Gail Johnson.

His cremation was entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home of Lake Charles.
