Gregory "Bubba" Prejean

Gregory Dean “Bubba” Prejean, 65 of Sulphur, LA Passed away Sunday Morning June 18, 2023, at his residence of natural causes. Bubba was a retired fire fighter with the Sulphur Fire Department including duties as an EMT, rescue team member, officer and served as a city inspector for Sulphur before his retirement.   
Bubba was a dog lover who enjoyed guiding hunting and fishing in Cameron Parish and spending time at his camp at Toledo Bend Lake catching trophy bass and crappie. 
Bubba is survived by his two daughters, Trisha Cooley and husband Jason, Traci Prejean from Orange Texas; 4 grandsons, Richard, Colton, Hunter, and Jameson and one on the way, 2 Granddaughters, Alexis OQuinn and Emilie Walker; Siblings, Charles “Chuck” Prejean Jr. (Evelyn), Cynthia “Cindy” Prejean (Bill Casey), Kenneth “Kenny” Prejean (Elese), Robert “Robbie” Prejean. 
Nieces, Samantha Bartlett, Amelia “Millie” Lopez, Amanda Fontenot, Britney Rase, Sarah Menard, Candance Prejean, and Sadie Prejean. Nephew, Phillip Prejean and numerous great nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents Charles, Sr. and Irene Prejean, and one niece, Erica Lopez. 
The family will welcome friends for a time of celebration in remembrance from 1:00 PM-4:00 PM on Thursday, June 22, 2023, at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home in Sulphur, La.
