Gregory Earl Spearing

On Sunday, January 17th 2021, The Lord called home a daughter’s hero, two children’s only parent, a mother’s first born, a loving big brother, a proud Paw-Paw and great-grandparent, and an extremely kind-hearted friend to many.

Gregory Earl Spearing will be missed in ways that will forever touch our souls. He gave this life a good fight, and everyone around him comfort because he was always there to help. His biggest passion in this life was his 2-year-old grandbaby, Roman, with whom he spent most his time.

He is survived by his baby-girl, Ashley Spearing and her fiancé, Ron Viguerie; his son, Jesse Spearing; his stepdaughter, Kayla Benoit Ellzey; his grandchildren, Baby Roman, and Zachary Gann along with his great grandbaby beautiful Baby Ella; mother, Rena Spearing; sisters, Roxanna Spearing, Debbie Spearing, Celia Spearing-Cain and her husband, Rodney; brother, Robby Spearing; cousin, Marie Hernandez, along with many other cousins, nieces and nephews, and several close friends.

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Samantha Spearing, his father Robert Earl Spearing, and his long-time love, Patricia Dupin Benoit.
