Hannings Joseph Menard

Hannings Joseph “Joe” Menard, 59, of Sulphur passed away on May 16, 2016 surrounded by loved ones. He was of the Catholic Faith and attended St. Theresa Catholic Church in Carlyss. Joe loved to spend his pass time fishing and hunting. He was a hard worker and the youngest of eleven children and will be missed by all who knew him.

Joe is survived by his three daughters, Jodi Jones and husband Luke and Jessi Manuel and husband Troy all of Orange, TX and Harley Menard of Sulphur; 5 grandchildren, Kayden, Kendall, Kain, Mason and Maddox; 3 sisters, Mary Moses, Irene Gibson and Linda Templet; 2 brothers, Eugene Menard and J B Menard; and numerous nieces, nephews, and close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rena and Anna Menard; his sister, Cordy Judice; and 4 brothers, Huey Menard, Jimmy Menard, Alvia Menard and Rena Menard, Jr.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 20, 2016 at 11 A.M. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Big Woods Cemetery under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Friday, May 20, 2016 from 9-11 A.M. with a rosary at 9:30 A.M. with visitation continuing until time of the service.
