Harold Lynn Bragg

Harold Lynn Bragg, 91, of Lake Charles, LA, died at 1:06 AM on Saturday, December 23, 2017 in a local hospital.

Mr. Bragg was born March 30, 1926 in Deweyville, TX and has lived most of his adult life in Lake Charles. He was a 1944 graduate of Newton High School and worked in Sales most of his life. Mr. Bragg was a charter member of 12th Street Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon and sang in the church quartet. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was an avid and excellent bowler. He played on a number of bowling leagues throughout the years. His true passion in life was for his family; he will truly be missed.

Mr. Bragg is survived by his son, Tom Bragg and wife Carla of New Caney, TX; daughters, Lynn LaFleur and husband Dwayne and Twanna Thibodeaux, all of Lake Charles; grandchildren, Jesse Bragg (Colleen) of Humble, TX, Roger Bragg (Amanda) of Leander, TX, Kacee Boxley (Philip) of Humble, TX, Kesha Hawk (Matt) of Eugene, OR, Tara David (Ryan) of Lake Charles, Gregory LaFleur (Tessa) of Lake Charles, Ashley Moore (Matt) of Cedar Park, TX, and Brian Thibodeaux of Houston, TX; and fourteen great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Louise Bragg; parents, Thomas and Carra Bragg; and brother, Jerald Bragg.

His funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Ronnie Estes will officiate. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday from 10:00 AM until the start of the service.
