Harry Joseph Simien

On Saturday, July 17, 2021, Harry Joseph Simien transitioned from his earthly life surrounded by loved ones.

Harry was born to the late, Curtis and Verlin Simien on August 24, 1968 in Lake Charles, Louisiana. He loved watching the New Orleans Saints Play and spending time calling and visiting family and friends. He was a member Greater Flowery Mount Baptist Church in Monroe, LA.

He will forever be remembered by his siblings, Priscilla (Hollis John Sr.) Walker and Jerry (Catrece) Simien; nieces, Santanna (Parrish) Burnett, Kimberly (Michael Jr.) Song, Karissa S., Saniyah F. and Laila B.; nephews, Hollis Jr., Christopher S. and Marcus S.; Godmother, Irene Simien and Eveyln Antoine; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, baby brother, Curtis Simien, Jr. and nephew, Devin Simien.

The family will welcome friends at University Baptist Church on Saturday, July 24, 2021 beginning at 9am until his time of service. A funeral will begin at 11am, led by Bishop Raymond Young and Pastor Joshua Mitchell. He will be laid to rest at Combre Memorial Park.
