Hattie Mary Richard Andrepont, 92, of Lake Charles, LA, died at 7:20 AM on Monday, June 29, 2015 in a local hospital. Mrs. Andrepont was born July 10, 1922 in Eunice, LA and has lived in the Lake Charles area for the past sixty-eight years. She was a member of Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. She loved to bowl and was a member of a bowling league with her husband during her younger years. She was a wonderful cook and will always be remembered for her Cajun French heritage. Mrs. Andrepont had a very outgoing personality and loved to talk. She also enjoyed spending time with her friends at Pitt Grill. Mrs. Andrepont is survived by her daughters, Judy Triche and husband S.E. of Sulphur, LA and Brenda Gunter of Houston, TX; son, Richard Andrepont and wife Geneva of Scott, LA; grandchildren, David A. Triche, Ronald J. Triche, Amy Gossett, Heather Bello, Scott Gossett, Sara Kolaks, Cole Gunter, David Verrett, Joey Seal, and Jimmy Stith; eleven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl J. Andrepont and daughter, Marlyn Johnson. Her funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM on Thursday, July 2, 2015 at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Deacon Harold Nixon will officiate. Burial will follow in Consolata Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday from 9:00 AM until the start of the service.
