Haywood "Billy" W. Miller, Jr.

Haywood “Billy” W. Miller, Jr., 79, of Lake Charles, LA, died on Thursday, January 4, 2018 in his residence.

Left to honor his memory are two sons, Mark Miller and wife Sandy of Sulphur and Mike Miller and wife Jennifer of Kaplan; five grandchildren, Tristan Moreau and wife Catherine of New Orleans, Cain Miller of Metairie, Cole Miller of Virginia Beach, VA, Tori Miller Robin and husband Tyler of Maurice, and Cade Miller of Kaplan; brother, Tommy Miller and wife Fang of Beijing, China. He also leaves nieces and nephews, Josh Miller, Michelle Kipp, Nicole Austin, Kathy Ackel, Debbie Bohny and Steve Derouen.

Billy was preceded in death by his wife of forty-seven years, Carmen Terranova Miller; son, Kevin Mitchell Miller; and his parents, Gladys and Haywood Miller, Sr.

His funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Deacon George Carr will officiate. Burial will follow in Consolata Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and continue on Tuesday from 8:00 AM until the start of the service.
