Hazel Ann Henry

Hazel Ann Henry, 80, of Lake Charles, LA went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 in a local care facility. Hazel was born on May 1, 1935 in Lake Charles, LA to Leonard and Una Melancon. She enjoyed being around friends and family. Hazel often enjoyed playing cards, painting, and working jigsaw puzzles. She was a lifelong resident of Lake Charles, LA and owned Hazel Henrys Tax Service. She is survived by her four children, Joey Thibodeaux and wife Liz of Walker, LA, Tina M. Clark and husband J.R. of Moss Bluff, LA, Danny P. Thibodeaux and wife Diana of Moss Bluff, LA and David K. Thibodeaux and wife Angie of Lake Charles, LA; brothers, Johnny Melancon of Lafayette, LA and Jo Melancon of San Antonio, TX; thirteen grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and nine great great grandchildren Hazel is preceded in death by her son, Kenneth John Thibodeaux; and husband, Albert L. Henry. Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Friday, August 14, 2015 at Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will begin on Friday, August 14, 2015 at 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Johnson Funeral Home. Burial will be at Consolata Cemetery. Rev. Lee Thomas will officiate services.
