Heather Nicole Backlund

Our beloved Heather Nicole Backlund, surrounded by her family, passed gently into the arms of Jesus on February 2, 2013. Heath and Kristin rejoiced in Heathers arrival on November 23, 2012 and cherished the time God gave them to spend with her. Heather was also blessed by the loving care of her NaNa and Paw Paw, in whose home she spent so many precious moments. She shared a special bond with her twin sister, Hannah Marie; her sister, Maddigan Lily, who loved her role as the big sister; and her older brother, Kaden Alex Duplechin. Heather was a blessing to us in so many ways, from her beautiful smile to the tender way she grasped the hands of those who cared for her. She was loved by all and will be greatly missed. She is survived by her parents, Heath and Kristin Backlund; her twin sister, Hannah; sister, Maddigen; brother, Kaden; her paternal grandparents, Michael and Evelyn Backlund; her maternal grandfather, Patrick Fuselier; and many other family members. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Sandra Jean Fuselier. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 7, 2013 at 1:00 pm at Robison Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Frank Brown officiating. Burial will follow in New Hackberry Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Thursday morning at 10:00 am until service time.
