Helen Belshe

Helen Belshe, 91, of Carlyss, La. passed peacefully from this life surrounded by her family on Monday March 1,2022. She loved to bake, grow roses, and she was an excellent seamstress. Helen even had her own business “Drapes by Belshe”.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Gerald Belshe, Steve Belshe, Randal Belshe (Partner Tony Lemaire), Dean Belshe; daughter-in-laws, Melissa and Angela Belshe; care-daughter Joann Degraot; caregivers, Mary Demeritt, Ivy Fuselier; 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Belshe; parents, Ira and Florence Wing; brothers, Eldridge and Eugene Wing; sister Louise Bullard.

A funeral service for Helen will be held at 1 pm on Friday, March 4, 2022, at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at 5 pm til 8 pm on Thursday, March 3, 2022, and resume on Friday morning at 11 am until time of service. Burial to follow at Mimosa Pines South in Carlyss.
