Helen Broussard Morgan

Helen Broussard Morgan, 81, of Lake Charles, passed away Friday, January 27, 2012 in a local hospital.

Mrs. Morgan was a life long resident of Lake Charles. She attended St. Charles Academy and was a graduate of Lake Charles High School. She enjoyed collecting owls, playing cards and bingo. Her greatest times were shared visiting with friends and traveling with her beloved "Tuffy". Mrs. Morgan will be most remembered for her fun loving spirit.

She is survived by nephew, Paul Abraham and wife Robin and their sons, Grey and George; niece, Carol Abraham Bolton and husband Chris and their son, Trent; niece, June Faye Broussard and nephews, Barry Tilman, Bruce Tilman, Danny Saucier and David Saucier.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lagrande "Bill" Morgan; parents, Edwin and Mildred Broussard, Sr.; brother, Edwin "Buster" Broussard, Jr. and four sisters, Wince May Stogner, Hilda Tuttle, Esther Tilman and Dorothy Abraham.

Funeral services will be at 3:00 PM Monday, January 30, 2012 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Reverends Jack Myers and James Lueckenhoff will officiate. Interment will follow in Consolata Cemetery. Visitation Monday will be from 2:00 PM until the time of service in the funeral home.
