Helen Domingue Doucet

Helen Domingue Doucet, 87 gained her angel wings on Friday, January 14, 2022.  She was born on July 18, 1934, in Sulphur, La to Joseph and Luda Domingue. 

Helen was a life-long resident of Sulphur, La.  She was a loving mom and grandmother.  She loved cooking for all her friends and family.  She enjoyed planting flowers and enjoying their beauty. 

Helen is survived by two brothers, Bubba Domingue, and Leo Domingue; her children, Glenn Doucet and wife Beverly, Gary Doucet and wife Tracy, Doug Doucet and wife Toni, Darla Doucet Perry and Butch O’Quain, Mark Doucet and wife Becky; grandchildren, Darren Doucet and wife Lori, Heather and husband Brandon Cormier, Lacy and husband Tyler Allen, Nicole Doucet, Nick Doucet and wife Crystal, Lacey and fiance’ Randy Murray, Elizabeth and husband Payton Dodge, Ashley LeBleu, Amber Doucet and her boyfriend Brandon Daughdril, Victoria Doucet, Jessica and husband Jimmy Lantier, Holden Perry and wife Sharon, Lakien Perry, Alexis and husband Johnathon Deshotel, Chris Doucet and wife Karlin, Zack Doucet; 34 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. 

Helen is preceded in death by her husband Ozer Doucet, her sisters, Evelina Doucet and Margaret O’Blanc; her brothers, Ervin, Albert, JB, AB, and Elvin Domingue. 

Funeral services for Helen will be held on Thursday, January 20, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 20, 2022, from 10 AM until the time of service.  Burial to follow at Big Woods Cemetery in Edgerly.
