Helen Dubose

Helen Claire Dubose "Memaw", 79, passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 in Port Arthur, Texas, surrounded by her family. Helen was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church in Sulphur. She was a charter member of UMW. She did the 50 + or -. Helen loved to cook and shop at Dillards. She attended BSF for 4 years. Helen loved to watch golf, the Dallas Cowboys and the Houston Texans. She loved her kids, grandkids and great grandkids. Helen had a strong faith in God. Helen is survived by her children, Thomas John Dubose, Jr. and wife, Diane, Janet Ponthieux and Katherine Bass and husband, Ronnie; sisters, Eleanor Hanna and Rosa Jicha; grandchildren, Trey, Melissa, Chris, Mickel, William, Kim, James and Kristen; great grandchildren, T.J., Finn and Ryder; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Rosa Kimbrough; husband, Thomas John Dubose, Sr.; and daughter, Peggy Lynn Dubose. Services for Helen will be held on Friday, March 6, 2015 at 11 am at Wesley United Methodist Church in Sulphur. Burial will follow at Indian Bayou Cemetery in Rayne, LA under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors on Friday, March 6, 2015 from 9 until the time of service.
