Helen Kay Myers, 66, of Lake Charles, died at 10:05 PM Saturday, September 29, 2018 in a local care facility with her loving family at her side.
Mrs. Myers was born on October 4, 1951 in Lake Charles, Louisiana to the parents of Daisy and Adam Hebert. She was a member of St. Theodore Catholic Church in Moss Bluff, Louisiana. One of her favorite pass times was collecting unicorns and spending time with all of her grandchildren.
She is survived by two sons; Jerry Lee Fontenot and wife Amber and Wallace Ray “Bubba” Fontenot and wife Lacey all of Ragley, Louisiana, one daughter Tessia Minix and husband Shawn of Houston, TX, two brothers; Robert Hebert of Big Lake, LA, and Donald Hebert of Moss Bluff, LA, three sisters; Dorothy Goodwin, Betty Wilson, and Judy Riley all of Texas, seven grandchildren; Alyssah, Khourey, Emorie, Dalton, Deja, Apria, and Lexi and one great grandson, Oliver.
Mrs. Myers is preceded in death by her parents, Daisy and Adam Hebert and one brother, Ronald Hebert.
Her funeral will be held on Friday, October 5, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Johnson Funeral Home. Reverend David Lilley will officiate. A rosary will be held at 12:00 PM. Burial will be in Grand Lake Community Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Friday at 10:00 AM until the time of services.
