Helen L. Hebert, 55, of Grand Lake, LA, died at 2:15 PM on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 in a local care facility.
Ms. Hebert was born March 10, 1961 in Creole, LA and has lived most of her life in Cameron Parish. She was raised of the Catholic faith. She was an artist and enjoyed painting, coloring and cooking. Helen will always be remembered for her heart of gold and her generosity; she will be missed greatly by all who loved her.
Ms. Hebert is survived by her son, Dusty LeBlanc of Fort Polk, LA; grandchild, Colten Walkup; sisters, Carlotta Boudoin and husband Randall of Grand Lake, LA and Evelyn Landry and husband Kirk of Creole, LA; brother, John T. LeBlanc and wife Rebecca of Sulphur, LA; nieces and nephews, Marc LeBLanc, Lee Ladner, Alisa Davidson, Barrett Boudoin, and Toni Boudoin, that she loved dearly; and good friends, Debra Dupre, Cheryl Trahan, and Darlene Dyson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Linda LeBlanc; siblings, Antoinette LeBlanc and Junious LeBlanc; and her grandmothers, Evelyn LeBlanc and Edolie Savoie Faulk.
Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Deacon Patrick Lapoint will officiate. Burial will follow in Grand Lake Community Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Saturday from 9:00 AM until the start of the service, with a rosary at 1:00 PM.
Pallbearers for the service will be Marc LeBlanc, Lee Ladner, Kernie LeBlanc, Marty LaBove, Barrett Boudoin, and Steven Landry. Honorary pallbearers will be Toni Boudoin, Paul Davidson, and John Paul Davidson.
