Henry Norris Chustz

March 7, 1924 — March 29, 2015

Henry Norris Chustz, 91, of Lake Charles, LA passed away on March 29, 2015 in a local hospital. He was born in Point Coupe Parish Louisiana. He served as an officer in the U.S. Army Field Artillery in World War II. Henry retired in 1980 from the U.S. Government Social Security Administration where he was Branch Manager. Since his retirement he has enjoyed gardening, golf and his family and friends Mr. Henry leaves his wife, Iva Lou, the love of his life and the following step children; Thomas Ivy Gore and wife Debbie, Laura Lynn Brazell and husband Mike, Emily E. Myers and husband Danny, Virginia P. Kuiper and husband Steve and many grand children and great grand children. Henry was predeceased by his parents and three brothers. He is also survived by his sister, Eloise Broussard and husband Norris, and his brother Charles Chustz and numerous nephews and a niece. Honorary pall bearers are John Hebert, Bob Hyberger, Jim Stevens and Charles Theriot. The family wishes to give thanks to Drs. Broussard, Leung, Ruiz and Hebert for their care. Also, special thanks to Trent and Sean, ICU nurses who provided excellent care for Henry and all of the family. A funeral Mass will be held at 11:30 AM Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. Visitation will be at Johnson Funeral Home from 9:30 AM until 11:15 AM. Burial will be at Consolata Cemetery. Fr. Charles Buller will officiate services.
