Hilda Grace Guidry

Hilda Grace Guidry, 94, of Lake Charles died Saturday, April 13, 2013, in a Lake Charles Care Facility.

Mrs. Guidry was a native and life resident of Lake Charles. She attended First Ward School and attended St. Margaret's Catholic Church where she was a long-time member of the Catholic Daughters, Court Our Lady of Fatima #1506.

Mrs. Guidry's husband Walter Joseph Guidry, Sr. and her son Walter Joseph Guidry, Jr. preceded her in death.

She is survived by two daughters, Marjorie Baca and her husband Ricardo of Lake Charles and Wanda Guidry Franklin of Jackson, MS; a son, Carroll Guidry and his wife Rose of Lake Charles two sisters, Betty Guidry Kover and her husband Joska of Herndon, VA and Doris Price of Lake Charles: a brother, Eddie Guidry of Shreveport. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, and one great, great grandchild.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at St. Margaret's Catholic Church. The Rev. Scott Conner will officiate. Burial will be in Consolata Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM Monday at the funeral home and there will be a Catholic Daughter's Rosary at 6:00 PM Monday evening at the funeral home. Visitation on Monday will be from 8:00 AM until 12:30 PM.
