Hilda Vivian Webb

Hilda Vivian Coleman Webb, 80, of Houston, TX passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at Houston Methodist Hospital surrounded by loved ones.  Mrs. Webb was born in Westlake, LA and lived her younger years in the Lake area.  She resided the past fifty-three years in Houston, TX. She enjoyed working as a School Bus Driver for the Houston Independent School District.  She was a gifted artist. She loved music, playing the organ/accordion, scrap booking, crafting and always looked forward to a good game of Canasta, joking and laughing.  Her greatest times were shared with family and friends.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her son, Robert Gilbert George, Jr. and wife Angela of San Antonio, TX; daughter, Desirée Kassandra Webb and companion Ramon Joseph Duron; granddaughter, Ashley Nicole Gonzales Barcenas and husband Juan Manual Barcenas Sr.; great grandchildren, Elena Grace Barcenas and Juan Manual Barcenas, Jr.; step children, Debbie Phillips and husband Stephen Murphy and their children, Kyle and Scott Phillips; Rudy Masten and wife Trizha and their six children; and James Webb and wife Stacy and their son; her sister, Mary Weaver; as well as many nieces and nephews.  

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack James Webb; parents, Arenz B. Coleman, Sr. and Gracie Ratcliff Coleman; two brothers, Arenz B. Coleman, Jr. and Marion “Wookie” Coleman and two sisters, Goldie C. Dalferes and Dorothy  “Dot” Coleman.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Tuesday, August 8, 2023 in the Chapel of Johnson Funeral Home.  Reverend Chuck Huddleston will officiate. Interment will follow in Magnolia Cemetery in Westlake.  Visitation Tuesday will be from 10:00 AM until the time of service in the funeral home.
