Hilton C. Ardoin

Hilton C. Ardoin, 79, passed away on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 in his residence. He was born December 31, 1941 to Hadley and Dula (Bertrand) Ardoin in Basile, La and moved to the Lake Charles area around 1960.  Hilton was an avid reader and an excellent Cajun cook. He enjoyed watching horse races and especially spending time with his family and never met a stranger. He worked over 20 years as an armed security officer.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 44 years, Paulette Hodges Ardoin; children, Lissa Ardoin, Michael Ardoin (Shannon), Jill Jordan (Rhett) and Cy Ardoin; 9 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; brother Louis Ardoin and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by a grandson, Jeramie Myers; parents; siblings, Egbert Ardoin, Dean Fruge, and Don Ardoin.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, July 2, 2021 at 1:00pm in Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff with Rev. Jared Pugh officiating.  Burial will follow in Magnolia Cemetery in Ragley.  Visitation will begin at 11:00am until service time at the funeral home.
