Holly Beth Spears Alexander

Holly Beth Spears Alexander was born August 28, 1973, in Lake Charles, Louisiana to Daniel Joseph Spears Sr. and Audrey Mae Fontenot Spears. Holly attended Barbe high school. In 1993, she married the love of her life, Michael Vance Alexander. Upon her marriage to Michael, she became an amazing bonus mom to three children. Holly and Michael went on to have four children- Dylan, Trystan, Kaelynn, and Shyann. She was proud to be a homemaker and take care of those she loved.

Anyone that knew her would say that Holly was full of life and that she lived and breathed for her family. In addition to being a great mom, Holly was also a wonderful friend. Whether it be a hot meal, a place to stay, or a good kick in the rear- she was always there to be whatever and whoever you needed. She was like a mother to many and always gave much more than expected. Her children and grandchildren were her world and spending time with her family and friends on her porch was one of her greatest joys. She enjoyed cruising, reading, and was a self-proclaimed movie critic.

Holly is survived by Michael, her husband of twenty-seven years; her children, Dylan (Jada) Alexander of Lake Charles, La;  Trystan (Harlee LeBleu) Alexander, and  Kaelynn and Shyann Alexander, all of Ragley, La.; her stepchildren, Britni (Corey) Farr of Sulphur, La.; Ty (Leah) Alexander of Hackberry, La.; her eleven “grandbabies” as she called them; one sister, Danette (Roger) Blankenship of Lake Charles;  two nieces, and a host of other family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Daniel Joseph Spears, Jr.

Her funeral service will be held at Johnson Funeral Home Thursday, August 20, 2020 at 12 p.m. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Thursday from 10 a.m. until the start of the service.

Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.
