Howard Murphy

Howard Murphy, 92, passed away on December 17, 2017 surrounded by his family, in the comfort of his own home.

Mr. Murphy leaves to cherish his name his wife of thirty years, Leary Ogea Murphy of Lake Charles; son, Darrell Murphy and wife Dara of Bossier City; Cristal Janis and husband Joe of Houston; son, Randall Murphy of Memphis; daughter, Pamela Spears and husband Chester of Bossier City; step-daughter, Ella Johnson of Lake Charles; step-daughter, Regina Guillory of Lake Charles; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Bennett and Alice Murphy; son, Raymond Murphy; and step-son, David Higgins.

A memorial service will be held at Johnson Funeral Home at 3PM on Wednesday, December 20, 2017. Brother Andrew Martin and Brother Garry Mann will officiate. Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will be at the funeral home from Noon till 3PM on Wednesday, December 20th.
