Hubert Mott

Hubert James Mott, 72, of Sulphur, passed away on June 12, 2019 in the comfort of his home surrounded by his family.  Hubert loved to drink beer, shoot pool, play video poker, and fish and crab.  He enjoyed being around his family and friends and loved his grandchildren dearly. 

Hubert is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Beverly Ray Mott; his children, Donna Nugent and husband Robert, Stacey Fontenot and husband Donald, Kimberly Maddox, Lisa Johnson and husband Ethan, Benjamin Mott and wife Crystal, Shelly O’Quain and husband Johnny, Melinda Mott and Clint Mott and wife Haley; 33 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; his sisters, Ann Leger, Bertha Meche and Patsy Bunch; and his brothers, Duke Mott, Joe Mott and Johnny Mott.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Zulma Meche Mott; and one sister, Faye Mott.

Services for Hubert will be held on Friday, June 14, 2019 at 2 PM at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Big Woods Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Thursday June 13, 2019 from 4-9 PM at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home and will resume on Friday from 10 AM until the time of service.
