Huey Joseph Nunez

Huey Joseph Nunez, 68 of Carlyss passed away on June 23, 2015 in a local hospital. Huey was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church in Carlyss. He worked for Cameron Communications, loved to fish and enjoyed working on his camp. Huey loved football, especially watching the Saints, LSU and the McNeese Cowboys. Huey is survived by his wife of 50 years, Carolyn Nunez of Carlyss; his two daughters, Karen Durham and husband Matt of Houston and Katherine Snider and husband David of MO; his two sons, Christopher Nunez, Sr. and wife Natalie Nunez and Andrew Nunez all of Carlyss; a brother, Roger Nunez; and a sister, Wendy Nunez. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Annie Nunez; and a sister, Eviola Veazey. The family will receive friends on Friday, June 26, 2015 from 1-9 P.M. with a service at 3 P.M. and a rosary at 5 P.M. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson and Robison Funeral Home.
