Huey Lewis Estilette

Huey Lewis Estilette, 85 of Lake Charles, LA was called Home on Thursday, July 29, 2021.

He was one of seven children, born February 7, 1936 in Port Barre, LA to Horaine and Violia Estilette.

He was a lifelong resident of Southwest Louisiana, spending most of his life in Lake Charles. He was employed with Calcasieu Parish Public Works as a dump truck driver, he worked hard to provide for his wife and four children. He possessed a kind heart and would help any in need. He was knowledgeable in many trades, allowing him to build the home he raised his children in. He and Norma Jean enjoyed raising Parakeets and Cockatiels.

He was welcomed into Heaven by his Lord and Savior; the love of his life and wife of 64 years, Norma Jean; three grandchildren, Erica, Tristen, and Cameron and his five siblings.

Those left to cherish his memory; his children, Pam (Geno) Miller, Wilfred (Patricia) Estilette, Samantha LeBert, Raleigh (Ann) Estilette; grandchildren, Rebecca Ann, Michael Miller, Heather (Chris) Gauthreaux, Scott LeBert, Rusty Estilette, Rachel (John) Logue; great grandchildren, Jenna, Hunter, Chris, Avril, Hailey, Austin; and five great great grandchildren and a sister, Janell Richard.

The family will welcome friends at University Baptist Church on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 beginning at 4pm til 8pm. A Rosary to be prayed at 6pm. Visitation will resume Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at 9am until time of service. Funeral service to begin at 10am with burial to follow at Consolata Cemetery.
