Hunter David Hagler

Funeral services for Hunter David Hagler, 19, of Sulphur, will be held on Tuesday, September 28, 2010 in Robison Funeral Home Chapel at 11am. Rev. Ricky Batchelor will officiate. Burial will follow in Highland Prien Memorial Park Cemetery, Lake Charles. Visitation will begin on Tuesday morning, September 28th from 9am " until time of service at 11am. Hunter passed away in Houston, Texas on Friday, September 24, 2010. Hunter David Hagler was born on March 20, 1991 in Lake Charles, Louisiana to David & Lisa Hagler. He grew up in Kingwood, Tx. and Baton Rouge, La. & was a current resident of Sulphur and had graduated in 2009 from Sulphur High School. He played football since he was 5 with his 2 older brothers and passed on the football tradition to Hayden that his older brothers had taught him. Hunter was the most kind hearted friend, protective brother & son and truly had a heart for others. He protected his younger brother Hayden after his older brothers Randall & Billy passed away. Hunter was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. A good day for him was watching them play a game, throwing the football with Hayden and friends, along with cooking out with his friends and family. He was a Proud Mamas Boy . He is survived by his Parents: David & Lisa Hagler, Sulphur; Brother: Hayden Hagler, Sulphur; Material Grandfather & Step- Grandmother: Bill & Chris Goodrich, Beaumont, Tx.; Numerous other Aunts, Uncles, Cousins & Friends. He was preceded in death by his 2 Brothers: Randall & Bill Batchelor; Maternal Grandmother: Laura Goodrich; Paternal Grandparents: Wayne Hagler & Gail Stine.
