I. Margaret Simon LeBleu, 83, went to be with her Lord and Savior on April 3, 2011 in a local hospital.
Born July 3, 1927 in Indian Bayou, Mrs. LeBleu lived most of her life in Lake Charles. She will always be remembered for her love of her children, husband, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She loved and cherished her many friends and grandchildren and enjoyed dancing and tending to her flowers. She was a member of St. Margaret Catholic Church and the CFMA for many years.
Mrs. LeBleu is survived by her husband of thirteen years, Joseph Cliff LeBleu; daughters, JoAnn Gladden and Patricia Fontenot, both of Lake Charles, and Deborah Roper and husband Hal of Cabot, AR; six grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Lawrence Simon; four sisters; and eight brothers.
Her funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Father Bill Miller will officiate. Burial will follow in Consolata Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a rosary at 6:00 PM. Visitation will continue on Wednesday from 8:00 AM until the start of the service.
Pallbearers for the service will be Hal Roper, Skip Simon, Percy Menard, Joe Buford, Lionel Soileau, and Miguel Johnson.
