Ian Thomas Rowland

Ian Thomas Rowland, 20 years old, passed away on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, in Lake Charles, Louisiana surrounded by his caring family. Ian was born on April 09, 2003, in Lake Charles, LA to Neill and Shari Rowland.

Ian loved to watch sports, attend parades, and most definitely loved to put a smile on anyone’s face. He had the smile of an angel, and the heart of a warrior.

He was preceded in death by his Papa; Thomas Rowland Jr., Mamee; Carol Fontenot, and his Pawpaw Bernie Fontenot.

Those left to cherish his memories are his parents, siblings; Maggie Rowland of New Orleans, LA and Jacob Rowland of Lake Charles, LA, and his grandmother; Debbie Rowland.

A Funeral Mass for Ian Thomas Rowland will be held on Wednesday February 21, 2024, at 1:00 P.M. at St. Margaret Catholic Church. Visitation will start Wednesday from 10:00 A.M. until 12:30 P.M. at Johnson Funeral Home with a rosary recited at 12:00 P.M. Burial will follow the service at Consolata Cemetery.
