Inez Antionettte Smith, 96, of Sulphur passed away on March 8, 2015 in a local care center. Inez was born in Prairieville, LA and lived in Sulphur since 1943. She was a member on Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church. She attended Trinity Baptist Church of Sulphur for a time during her life. Inez enjoyed gardening, sewing, cooking, (especially navy beans), and crocheting. The love of her life was her family, especially her grandchildren. Inez is survived by her four sons, Dale Smith and wife Donna of Mountain Home, AR, Roy Smith and wife Beverly of Estencia, New Mexico, Bobby Smith and wife Gloria of Sulphur and Larry Smith and wife Shelly of Baton Rouge, LA; 18 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Auston Smith; a son, Harold Smith; a daughter, Mona Rae Cornelius; 3 three grandsons, Ricky and Timothy Smith and Johnny Cornelius; her parents, Alfonse and Rita Denoux; and a sister, Connie Roth. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at 11 A.M. at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Sulphur with Father Edward Richard, M.S. officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery in Sulphur under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Monday, March 9, 2015 from 4:30 P.M.- 8 P.M. with a rosary at 6 P.M. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home.
