Inez Sally Scharrier

Mrs. Inez Scharrier has departed from this life on January 10, 2012. She was born on July 8, 1916 in Creston, LA to M. T. and Edith McCrory. She was preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, John Wesly Scharrier, her parents, M. T. and Edith McCrory, two brothers, Elize and M. T. McCrory, Jr., and sister, Jewel Banks. She is survived by one son, Hershal E. Scharrier and wife, Jan; two granddaughters, Jodi Prather and Josan Miller and husband, Danny; three great granddaughters, Sidney and Kelsey Miller and Page Prather; one great grandson, Remey Miller; and one sister, Belvie Newman. Until time caught up with her she loved to make quilts, crochet and cook for her family. She and her husband both loved to fish and shrimp and they thoroughly enjoyed their grandchildren and great grandchildren. She has enjoyed life to the fullest, traveling with her church friends. Granny will be missed by all. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. at Robison Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, January 13, 2012 with Rev. Lamar Huffman officiating. Burial will be in Mimosa Pines Cemetery in Carlyss, LA. The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 12, 2012 from 5-8 p.m. and will resume on Friday at the funeral home at 8 a.m. until time of service.
