Irene L. Mele

Irene Louise Mele, 89, passed away on November 4, 2013 at Lake Charles Care Center. Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Donna Bradford and her husband Michael, Lake Charles; her son Nicholas A. Mele and wife Bruna of Gaeta, Italy; five grandchildren, Brian and Shenna Bradford, Donna and Nicholas Mele and Michelle Neubauer; two great grandchildren, Avery and Luca. Also left to cherish her memory are Jennifer Berken, Nikki Neubauer and her faithful pet companion, Allie. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nicholas A. Mele, her parents, Jennie and George Meyette and her sisters, Evelyn, Ruth and Daisy. We will celebrate Irene's life with a visitation service on Thursday November 7, 2013 at Johnson Funeral Home from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Irene's home state of Massachusetts.
