Iry Joseph Arnaud, 75 of Sulphur passed away on April 16, 2013 in a local hospital. Iry was born and raised in Arnaudville, LA. He joined the United States Air Force as a teenager retiring after 20 years of service. Iry then worked for PPG in security for 18 years, retiring so that he could enjoy fishing and hunting. Iry adored his children and grandchildren. Iry is survived by his wife of almost 56 years, Daphne of Sulphur; son, Kevin Arnaud of Austin, TX; daughter, Laurie Lominac and husband, Todd of Sulphur; 5 grandchildren, Teresa Pelt and husband, Jason, Colby Richard and wife, Sasha; Austin Richard, Hailey Lominac, and Tierra Lominac all of Sulphur; 5 great grandchildren; and 4 sisters, Anabelle Richard, Etheleen Taylor, Earline Knott and Girley Olivier. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alba and Emitile Arnaud; great granddaughter, Megan; 4 brothers and 3 sisters. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 18, 2013 at 1 p.m. at Robison Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Johnny Mounce officiating. Burial will be in Mimosa Pines Cemetery in Carlyss under the direction of Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 17, 2013 from 4-9 p.m. with a rosary at 6 p.m. at the funeral home and will resume on Thursday at 11 a.m. until time of service.
