Isabella Gobert Dale

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Isabella Gobert Dale, 87 years old, of Lake Charles, LA.

Mrs. Dale was welcomed into heaven on Friday, February 4, 2022 following a brief illness. She was the youngest of five children; all of whom preceded her in the death. In addition, she was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Ronnie Wade Dale, as well as her nephew Jerry Johnson. Mrs. Dale had a passion for animals and was an avid lover of cats.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her stepson, Michael (Sharon) Dales whom she raised like a son from childhood; her niece, Susan Munson who was like a daughter to her and who was her primary caretaker until the end. Additionally, her cousin, Miles Thibodeaux who she was very close to and loved like a son, as well as a host of other nieces and nephews. Mrs. Dale’s family wishes to thank Lorri Roach and Corine Dennison for their help in caring for their beloved Isabella. 

Funeral services will be at 11am Tuesday, February 8, 2022 in the Chapel of Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff. Father Aubrey Guilbeau will officiate. Interment services will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Lake Charles. Visitation Tuesday will be from 9:30am until start of a Rosary service at 10:30am in the funeral home.

Memorial donation in her honor may be made to any animal charity of choice.
