Ivy "Joe" Joseph Bonsall, Jr.

Ivy “Joe” Joseph Bonsall, Jr., 39, of Sulphur, LA passed away on July 15, 2018.

Joe, or “Tee” as he was known by his friends was born in Lake Charles, LA on October 3, 1978 to Ivy and Martha “Martie” Doucet Bonsall, Sr. Joe enjoyed fishing, playing his X-Box, and his mountain dew which he carried with him at all times. He loved his Marvel Comics “Venom” and spending time with his family and friends.

Joe is preceded in death by his father and one grandchild, Ja’Koby Porter.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Yvette Bonsall, one son, Gabriel, two step children, Cody LaCombe and Kelsie LaCombe along with two grandchildren and one on the way. He is also survived by his mother, his aunt Sue Doucet, who was like a mother to him,  and one brother, Patrick Tarver.

The family will receive friends at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 18, 2017 from 5-8PM with a Rosary being recited at 7PM.  Visitation will continue on Thursday morning, July 19, 2018 from 9-11AM at the funeral home.  A funeral service will be held at 11AM at the funeral home, officiated by Deacon Patrick LaPoint.  Burial will follow at Big Woods Cemetery under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home.
