Jack Alan Watson, 49, of Lake Charles died Sunday December 28, 2014 at a local hospital following a brief illness. Jack Alan was born in Oakdale to Jack and Mollie Hendricks Watson. He was a heavy equipment operator with Tommasi Brothers, and started working with machinery at the age of 16. He was a friend to all he met and enjoyed helping others. Jack Alan enjoyed off road four wheeling, mud bugging and motor cycles. He took great pride in his family. Jack Alan was preceded in death by his father, Jack Watson and a sister, Patricia Menard. He leaves to honor and cherish his memories, a son, J.W. Watson, two grandchildren, Lilah and Skylar Watson, all of Lake Charles; his mother, Mollie Watson, Lake Charles; brother, Michael Watson, Charleston, South Carolina; sisters, Debbie Gregorie Lake Charles and Kay Hebert, Elton; children of the heart, Randy Combs and Jessie Combs and daughter Kylie as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM today, Tuesday December 30, 2014 and from 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM Wednesday at Johnson Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be at 10:30 AM Wednesday December 31, 2014 at the funeral home with the Rev. Kay Hebert officiating. Burial will follow at LeBlanc Cemetery in LeBlanc, LA.
