Jack Damon Robinson, Jr., 69, was called home by his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, April 3, 2013.
Born in Opelousas to Jack D. Robinson, Sr. and Lillian Ruth Harrod Robinson, Mr. Robinson was raised in Leslie, Georgia. As a young man, he moved to Westlake, which he made his home. He was the owner and operator of Jack Robinson Farm Service and RV's Plus, and co-owner of Sun Contracting. Mr. Robinson was a faithful member of Bellview Baptist Church of Westlake and had a passion for mission work. He was a man of faith--faithful to his Lord and to his beloved family. He will be greatly missed by the many people he touched for Jesus Christ.
Those left to cherish his memory are his devoted wife of almost 50 years, Joanna Boese Robinson; two daughters, Julianna Robinson Broussard of Houston and Jonan Welborn and husband Bobby of Lumberton, Texas; one brother, Brian Robinson and wife Linda of Westlake; one sister, Linda Hardesty of Westlake; and his beloved granddaughter, Jordan Welborn and step grandson, Chris Broussard.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 6, 2013, at Johnson Funeral Home. Bro. Jaceson Johnson and Bro. John Ward will officiate. Interment will be at Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be on Friday from 5 until 8 p.m., and on Saturday from 8 a.m. until service time.
