Jack James Leo, Sr.

Jack James Leo, Sr., 41, of Lake Charles died at 6:00 AM on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at his residence.

 

Mr. Leo was born on February 9, 1975 in New Orleans where he lived all of his life before moving to Lake Charles three years ago.  He was a very talented master carpenter who was proud to have built the number one rated built Department of Corrections Credit Union and also the largest chapel for the Department of Corrections in the state of Louisiana.

 

He will be remembered as a loving and giving man with a heart of gold.  Mr. Leo was a regular carpenter volunteer for Habitat for Humanity.

 

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving and devoted wife Kerri Moore Leo of Lake Charles; three daughters, Jewel Kate Leo of Lake Charles, Demi Elizabeth Leo of Lake Charles, and Jacklyn Rose Leo of New Orleans; two sons, Jacob Micah and Jack James Leo, Jr. both of Slidell; his mother, Patrice Elizabeth Leo of Slidell; two brothers, Jason and John Henry Leo, III both of Slidell; and one sister, Colleen Leo of Slidell.

 

He was preceded in death by his father, John Henry Leo, Jr.; a sister and brother-in-law, Caren Ann and Tommy O’Brien. 

 

Cremation was entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.
