Jack White

June 29, 1935 — March 1, 2021

Jack White, 85, passed away on Monday, March 1, 2021 at his residence.  Mr. White was born June 29, 1935 in Lake Charles, La to Russell and Eunice White.  Mr. White served his country in the United States Navy in 1954-1957.  He joined the Knights of Columbus where he was very active and he was also a Lay Minister at St. Theodore Catholic Church. He enjoyed fishing and was a member of the VFW Post 9933 in Moss Bluff and the American Legion Post 1 for many years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Patricia Ann White and son, Billy White. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Gloria Henry-White; children, Catherine Anderson, Janet Farque (David) and John Scott White (Misty); step-daughter, Karen Veillon (Eugene); grandchildren, Johnny White, Casey Vincent, Davey Farque, Garrett Kelly, Renee Butterfield and Gunnar Higdon; step grandchildren, Kandice Karim (Rehan), Kristen Deshotel (Doug), Karley LeLeux (Brandon); 8 great grandchildren; sister, Delores Landry and numerous nieces/nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00am on Thursday, March 4, 2021 at St. Theodore Catholic Church with Fr. Aubrey Guilbeau officiating.  Burial will be in Old Richie Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 3, 2021from 5:00-8:00pm in Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff with a Rosary at 6:00pm and will resume on Thursday at 8:30-9:30am in the funeral home.
