Jacob Michael Cormier

Jacob Michael Cormier, 27, of Lake Charles died at 12:30 PM on Friday August 31, 2012 due to a motor vehicle accident.

Jacob was born on July 6, 1985 to the parents of Jennifer Price and Gordon Cormier of Lake Charles. He was a Graduate of Barbe High School. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, and cooking.

He is survived by his parents; grandparents, James Jim and Ileta Wise and Martin and Letha Vincent; brother, Joshua Cormier; sister, Tayler Price; aunt, Jill Barfield and husband Rick; uncles, Ed Wise and wife Sherline, Randy Cormier and wife Kathy, Kermit Cormier and wife Yvonne, Gibson Cormier, Neal Cormier and wife Lena, and Chris Cormier and wife Sandi.

Jacob was preceded in death by his grandfather Gibson Blackie Cormier and a cousin Jason Cormier.

In lieu of flowers donations may made to family for memorial services.

His funeral will be held on Tuesday September 4, 2012 at 1:00 PM in Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will begin on Monday September 3, 2012 from 5PM until 9PM and a Rosary at 6PM. Visitation will resume Tuesday morning at 8:30 AM until time of service. Burial will be at Consolata Cemetery, Rev. Chris Fusilier will officiate services.
