Jacob Todd Barks

Jacob Todd Barks, 21, of Starks, passed away on November 5, 2011. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 21, 2011 at 10a.m. at First Pentecostal Church of Starks with Rev. Greg Frazier officiating. Burial will be in the Barnes and Barks Family Cemetery in Starks. The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 20, 2011 from 5-9p.m. in First Pentecostal Church in Starks and will resume on Monday at 8a.m. in the church until time of service. Jacob was a native and lifelong resident of Starks. After high school he went to work as a welders helper on pipelines. He also worked with his grandfather doing carpentry work. Jacob loved to hunt and fish and was a very kind and loyal son and friend. Jacob is survived by his parents; Todd and Laura Barks, brother; Tyler Barks and paternal grandparents; R T and Jackie Barnes all of Starks. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents; Rae and Marvin Woods. A memorial fund has been set up at Capital One Bank for Jacob Todd Barks if anyone would like to make a donation.
