Jacqueline Rae Monceaux

Jacqueline Rae Monceaux, 86, Sulphur, passed away peacefully Wednesday, November 15, 2023, in her residence.  She was born in Carlyss, La., on September 14, 1937.  She lived in Sulphur for 66 years with her husband, Joseph, the love of her life.

Jacqueline had a large collection of stuffed animals and was always looking forward to adding to her collection of soft and fuzzy stuffed animals.  She loved being outside nurturing and taking care of their yard, which always looked nice. She loved her little doggie, a white poodle named Joey.  She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 66 years, J C Monceaux; sisters, Virginia Rabin of Gulf Shores, AL., Genny Harrigan of Irvine, CA., and Lena Metcaf of Colorado; and sister-in-law, Elaina Landry of Sulphur, LA.

She is preceded in death by her sister, Mary Lou Crawford of Sulphur; brother, Kermit East of Sulphur; and her mother Lula East of Sulphur.

Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson and Robison Funeral Home of Sulphur, LA.

In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations to help pay for funeral expenses.
